Join the basic income community in September as we come together in Portland, OR to chart the course for the critical next wave of our movement. Together, we will develop and coordinate the strategies and processes needed to meet the challenges we face with new political leadership and changes to the policy and funding landscape.
In the past few years, The BIG Conference shifted to a unique approach to our programming that centers community participation and creates opportunities for collaboration across our movement.
In our first survey that we shared with you all, we had over 70 people raise their hands to join us in supporting programming!
Since then, the group came together to brainstorm potential topics for this year’s BIG conference that feel critical and important for the movement.Participants and community members joined people from organizations like Bread for the City, Hummingbird Indigenous Services, LA Lift, Income to Support All, and The GRO Fund to brainstorm and discuss important topics.
Now we need the broader community’s input to help us further narrow these topics and share who in our movement brings important perspectives to these topics — including you!
