The motto was submitted and designed by Jaanus Nurmoja, Estonia (Rakvere / Tallinn), the main UBI advocate in Estonia, board member of MTÜ Kodanikupalga Ümarlaud Eestis https://kodanikupalk.ee Currently, their explanatory work is mainly focused on the possible positive impact of UBI on the birth rate. There is increasing awareness that low birth rates may threaten the long-term sustainability of the physical existence of their small nation, and therefore they must help the birth rate rise to the level necessary for population recovery. However, this is not possible without ensuring the basic livelihood of families. By ensuring livelihood security for each individual, UBI also ensures it for families through them.
