Basic Income Family Picknick in The Park – Budapest – 19 sept. 2015 @ A Városligeti
Sep 19 @ 13:00 – 18:00

hu-picknick2015. szeptember 19.-én 13h-tól 18h-ig a Városligetbe vár mindenkit az FNA-Mozgalom!
Esemény: https://www.facebook.com/events/620697668033904

A 8. Nemzetközi Feltétel Nélküli Alapjövedelem (FNA) Hét
https://www.facebook.com/events/421208298066517/
keretében az egyik magyarországi eseményként kerül megrendezésre az FNA-Mozgalom nevében, melyre MINDENKIT SZERETETTEL VÁRUNK.
Tavaly szeptember 20.-án tartottunk a civil, informális Mozgalom jegyében rendezvényt, akkor is a Nemzetközi hét apropóján. Idén több aktivista bekapcsolódott a szervezésbe, így reményeink szerint tartalmasabb és főként érdekesebb programmal várhatunk benneteket, melyben a gyerekekre is gondoltunk:

13h -eseménymegnyitó

Folyamatos programok, amikre 13h-tól 17h-ig bármikor bekapcsolódhatsz:
– Kvíz játék (kérdések-válaszok külön gyerekeknek is)
– Gyereksarok (szolidaritási játékok)
– Flash mob (közös éneklés)
– Beszélgess velünk az FNA-ról (beszélgetősarok)
– Mikrofonpróba (amennyiben a kihangosítást sikerül megoldanunk, bárki jelentkezhet, max 5 perces “előadásra”)

17.30- a játékok eredményhirdetése

A program még változhat a csatlakozó civil szervezők(önkéntes aktivisták), illetve szervezetek jóvoltából. 😉

Kérjük, a szervezetek részvételüket jelezzék a Mozgalom Facebook oldalán üzenetben.

OSZD MEG, és hívd meg ismerőseidet is!

UBI among topics at first Vox “Unconference” -Washington DC -US @ Washington DC
Sep 21 – Sep 22 all-day

vox-conversationsAmerican news outlet Vox: “unconference”
Among the questions to be discussed is “Should we replace the welfare state with a universal basic income?”

Vox will hold Vox Conversations in Washington D.C. from September 21-22. Attendance is by invitation only — although anyone can apply for an invitation — and attendees will develop their own schedule of events. According to an August 29 update (“Vox’s first conference will be different”), Vox aims to gather a “diverse of group of 150 people into a room” and let conversations develop organically.

Vox states that there is only one rule of the conference: “we don’t want to be bound by the narrow confines of what seems possible today. Let’s think about the world as it could and should be, not as it is.” The first suggested topic on the conference website is “Should we replace the welfare state with a universal basic income?”

Confirmed participants so far include basic income advocate Scott Santens, former SEIU President Andy Stern — whose new book on basic income, Raising the Floor, has earned a considerable amount of publicity — and Natalie Foster, an expert on the sharing economy and gig economy who has spoken in favor of basic income.

Vox Conversations standard registration fee is $675 and includes access to conference sessions, scheduled meal functions, and social events. Additional discounted rates are available for nonprofit, government, and academia.

Amending the Constitution with a UBI Campaign Petition – Seoul @ Hongdae Subway Exit
Sep 21 @ 19:00 – 21:00

Basic Income Korean Network (BIKN) and other UBI supporters will initiate “Amending the Constitution with a UBI” Campaign Petition on 21st September.

President Moon Jae-In promised some amendments to the South Korea’s Constitution in order to improve the devolution of Korean power and strengthen guarantee human rights, after he won the presidential election in May 2017 to replace the impeached one. The South Korea Parliament has been preparing a package of Constitutional amendments. We believe that the constitutional referendum will be held on 13 June 2018.

BIKN has proposed joint petition to all the basic income supporters in South Korea from June to August this year. And we made 온국민기본소득운동본부 (meaning “Basic Income for All” Campaign Petition Headquarters) as an organization of campaign initiators. Now, we are preparing some campaign petition materials, including about 300 street banners, lots of pamphlets and some pickets.

We will run the “Amending the Constitution with a UBI” Campaign Petition from September to December this year. In 10th International Basic Income Week, there will be two street campaign days, Sep. 21st and 23rd in Seoul, Capital of South Korea. And we are going to use social media campaign and lots of street banners are also going to be hung out at various places across the country during this period.

Address: Sep. 21st @ Hongdae Subway Exit, Seoul, Korea  http://gotohongdae.blogspot.nl/p/how-to-get-to-hongdae.html
Sep. 23rd @ Gangnam Subway Exit, Seoul, Korea

“기본소득의 사상과 이론” – Seoul (KR) @ 정치경제연구소 대안
Sep 21 @ 10:30 – 12:00

We, Basic Income Korean Network decided recently to host an event during the 12th IBIW. So I’d like you to know about our event.
We will host a seminar at 10:30 AM on Saturday, 21st September, whose title is the “Seminar with Emeritus Professor of Economics Makoto Itoh: Social Thoughts and Theories of Basic Income.” Professor Itoh is a prominent scholar of Marxian political economy (the Uno School) in Japan. We hope this event could make UBI in favour with much more Marxists in South Korea. You can find more information about it below: https://basicincomekorea.org/event-news_190921_seminar-with-makoto-itoh/
Thanks.
Best regards,
Seonmi Park
